The Fun Of Bathroom Planning
Do you ever walk in the bathroom and think about how you could update it? Make it a little more modern? Look around and think about how you would change the space. Do you have room for a larger tub or shower? Or maybe there’s room for two separate components? When you first start planning to remodel your bathroom, consider your budget, available space, and what you would like as the center piece of the bathroom. When putting together a budget, it’s a good idea to get a few quotes from local contractors so that you have an accurate idea of the cost. Once you’ve got your plan completed and your budget set, the bathroom of your dreams is within reach!
Current Space Or Add To It?
Does your dream bathroom fit in the space you have? If, for example, you don’t have the space to put in that large sized shower you’re looking forward to installing, you might need to add a little space. You can do this by knocking out a wall or doing whatever you have to do. This is of course going to cost extra, but it’s all information you’re going to need when figuring out your budget. When figuring out your space, you’re also going to want to know if you have the room to add on. If your bathroom is on the outside edge of the house, you should be able to expand into the yard. However, if you only have a little bit of space to work with, this can seriously hinder your bathroom planning progress.
What to Put in the Bathroom
Now that you know your space limitations, you can get down to deciding where all the different components, like the tub, toilet, and sink, are going to go. When you pick out the bathroom components, think about the style you want to go with like modern, classic, or country. Once you choose a style, stick with it. Mixing older pieces with modern pieces will create a disjointed look. Let your new bathroom really express who you are, that way you’ll have fun putting it together. Your new bathroom will mean even more to you knowing that you are the creative genius behind it!
